Selecting, measuring and marking materials for exterior doors and windows, foundations, floors, walls and roofs. Cutting and shaping materials and joining them with nails, screws, bolts or glue. Developing work plans.

Installing sheetrock, wallboards/drywall to ceilings or to interior walls of buildings and applying mudding. Smooths out imperfections with trowels and shackle. Apply coats of compound after panels are mounted to walls or ceiling. Installing paneling and finishing.

Clean-up construction sites, wipe down ceiling fixtures, fans, lights, mechanical registers, walls, cabinets, windows, sills, mirrors, baseboards, counters, appliances and other fixtures. Sweep floors and outdoor sidewalks and patio spaces of debris. Haul trash.

Fixing, restoring or adding structures, walls or spaces that have been damaged, deteriorated or are no longer needed. Expanding or enhancing existing structures to meet new requirements or accommodations growth. These may range from minor fixes to major renovations. Additions can include building new rooms, extensions, or features onto an existing structure such as adding an extra room, a kitchen, or demolishing a wall to enlarge an area.
